Marcus Durocher is bucking the trend of Canadian youth for the upcoming Canadian federal election on April 28, 2025. Over the years Barry has engaged with Marcus a number of times about current issues. It has always been in a spirit of seeking to understand and appreciate the differences of opinion.
Barry is conservative in his political leanings and has not been shy in expressing his view. He is not now a member of either federal party preferring to maintain an open mind on the issues. Marcus is a Liberal Party supporter and is of the view that Mark Carney is the “middle of the road” candidate who will get Canada through “the tariff war” with President Trump. Barry takes a different view and challenges Marcus’s assumptions. It makes for an interesting discussion.
